The Music Friendly Texas program, administered by the Texas Music Office, recognizes communities that actively support and cultivate music industry development.

To earn this designation, Alvin:

• Completed the formal Music Friendly Texas workshop process
• Identified and established a local music office point of contact
• Strengthened communication between city leadership, venues, and musicians
• Demonstrated a commitment to supporting live performance and music-related activity

By becoming Music Friendly, Alvin signals to artists, promoters, and industry professionals that we are open for live music and ready to collaborate.
